Andreea Corina Danila
Hi, I'm a PHD student at Universitatea Stefan cel Mare Suceava - Romania. For the past 12 years I have been studying and working in Brussels in IT - Business Intelligence domain and I think this particular field (data science) is taking more interest in all domains especially in the research area. I have a Master degree in Economics at Université Libre de Bruxelles. I have worked in research at the European Center for Advanced Research in Economics and Statistics from Brussels and as a Blue Book Trainee at the European Commission in DG-Trade. For the past 8 years I have worked extensively in the Business Intelligence sector with public institutions and private companies. My main expertise include data mapping and analysis, data management and modelling, ETL, research and project management. I'm interested in data science, sustainable development, personal growth and pursuit of happiness. As the world is changing very fast I believe universities all over the world, governments and international institutions need to tackle the most important issues like pollution, climate change and the well being of the population. I believe in the existence of a Universal Basic Income that will be able to tackle the economical and technological revolutions that are to come. For the future I see a transversal research across multiple disciplines with interconnected data from which we can take insights to shape a better world for ourselves and our children.
